The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced an extension of the deadline for Marketplace consumers to enroll in health coverage starting Jan. 1, 2025.

Consumers now have until 5 a.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, to enroll in an on-exchange plan and secure full-year coverage for 2025. 

Blue Individual and Family Connect has been updated and is ready to support this extension. 

For off-exchange enrollments, agents will need to use the Shop & Apply link on My Business Manager starting now through Jan. 31, 2025. We will share more information about off-exchange enrollments tomorrow.
